Review of India vs England Twenty20 match at Durban

After a considerate time, it was a must watch win for India…India had been outstanding today with a performance that has put all the Indian critics into the box. The Indians have swept a magnificent 18 run win over England and along with has set up some unforgettable memories on the International Cricket scenario.

There was once a history created by Gary Sobers, Ravi Shastri, Hershelle Gibbs and today it was Yuvraj Singh shaking the ground beneath the English team. His spell of 58 runs with 36 coming off just one over was mind boggling. It was this one over that gave away the chances of creating an upset for England.

On the whole, the Indian team finished their innings with 218 runs with the loss of 4 wickets and not only Yuvraj Singh but Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir also made a worthy contribution. However, out of all the English players, Stuart Broad is the one to remember this day for many days to come.

It all started with some kind of alteration by Andrew Flintoff in the previous over and Yuvraj took it all out on the ball as hard as he could. There was a roar of excitement in the crowd with each consecutive six….

On the other hand, there was Gautam Gambhir who took it out on Tremlett and then on Maddy by hitting some great fours across the boundary. However, for this match it was undoubtedly Yuvraj Singh who stole the show… Now its the time for another action tomorrow at Durban where India takes its toll against South Africa to contend for the Semi Finals…

Undoubtedly, it was Yuvraj’s day and the flicked six was awesome.

Lets hope he does not stop with this.
