Pakistan Vs South Africa – Third One-Day International at Faisalabad (Live Score)
The Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad is believed to be one of the most popular stadiums in Pakistan. It holds the capacity of accommodating 19000 people and many a times it holds even more numbers of people. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was also from Faisalabad and hence there is one auditorium on his name near the ground.
Last year Pakistan lost a match against West Indies on the same stadium by about 8 wickets while they were chasing the score of 152. The pitch doesn’t seem to be lenient on the runs but Mickey Arthur, the South African coach sees no problem with the pitch and begs to differ from the belief. South Africa has had a fairly good series except the flick at Lahore.
On the other hand, a lot of variations are being seen on the Pakistani team with Shoib Malik bringing in a range of new faces. He was heard commentating that they are preparing themselves for the upcoming tour against India, which is obviously going to be an important one for both the teams concerned.
The third one day here is surely going to be a decisive one with just two games left after this and whichever team wins here is surely going to have an upper edge in the rest of the series as well. Both the teams seem to be in the best of their spirits before the play and seem to be ready for another festive match on this historic ground today…
