India Vs Pakistan - ICC Twenty20 World Cup: The Final Perspective!

Tomorrow is going to be another historical day as far as International Cricket is concerned. India VS Pakistan has always been a watch mainly because of the never ending rivalry between the two teams.

The Indian Side:

The Indian captain for the ICC Twenty20 world cup, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has always played with a philosophy of a pressure-free game and the rest has been the history. He claimed that he would put in his best and leave worrying about the rest and this has kinda worked for him since the past week and a half and the results have been nothing less than extravagant. But the match tomorrow is more about results as compared to the plans and tactics.

Entering this tournament, the expectations from the team had been fairly low and pretty much unanticipated. Before this tournament, they had played only one Twenty20 match and had been beaten up by England. However, the worst part for the team was that the biggies like Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly & Rahul Dravid opted out of the series and their replacements were fairly unknown names in International Cricket. On this evening, before the final, it hardly matters about the negatives as the positives have been displayed when it comes to batting, bowling and fielding and one can not afford to forget the contribution of these unknown newcomers as far as the fielding is concerned. They have taken the play on to the highest possible level. The challenge is to stay there.

The only concern for the Indian team at this point would be the pitch and its field. India has played only once at the Johannesburg. And the 2pm start means that whoever wins the toss will want to bat first and if Pakistan wins the toss, India will be in a completely different situation. However, the first five overs are crucial but not as much as the last eight overs according to the Indian skipper.

The Pakistan Side:

Pakistan has come a long way through the series of controversies and now finally they are on the Twenty20 finals in Johannesburg. Even they have succeeded with the ball, the bat and most importantly with the field at the essential moments. They USP of the team is its consistency and for tomorrow all they need to do is, hold it together.

However, tomorrow is not going to be an ordinary match. No India – Pakistan match is… The previous encounter between India and Pakistan led to a tie and then a shootout after. But tomorrow the match is going to be a hit with an emotional crowd and electrifying atmosphere. The win tomorrow will lead to the first international victory after Imran Khan’s win in 1992.

Even the Pakistani team is full of new and promising faces, especially Sohail Tanvir and Misbah-Ul-Haq. The selection of latter sparked a debate all over Pakistan as the sufferer was Mohammad Yusuf and even here, the absence of Shoaib Akhtar and other seniors is a blessing in disguise for Malik as he now has a team that is far more controllable than the previous one.

EVERY TEAM PLAYED VERY NICE IN TWENTY20 WORLD CUP 2007. THIS IS AN INTERESTING MATCH IN THE CRICKET SERIES.

India will beat pakistan by 30-40 runs in the final Twenty20 world cup today. India will win the toss and start with batting. After 1st over they will come on form and striking SIX and FOUR. Pak fielding will be very bad today, they will even loose many catches and boundaries.
Pakistan will loose 1st wicket in 3rd over and playes will not able to score. Two playes will out while misunderstanding running between the wicket.

So, INDIA LIFT THE TWENTY20 WORLD CUP 2007.

i would comment against indian bowlers especially SREESANTH – he is not playing the game with sportsmansprit. in last game, when he lifted the 1st wicket, his reaction was terrible. he should be trained well and moulded. certain type of action that too in an international game. the whole world is watching the game and it is shows INDIAN TEAM’S immeturity.
