A Bigger Challenge for India…: The India Vs Australia, First ODI at Bangalore.

The whole country is still in the celebration mood on the men in blue winning the Twenty20 World Cup. However, the players would have to wind up the celebrations early enough as they have a bigger challenge in front of them. The seven ODI series opposite to Australia start on Saturday, in Bangalore, India.

Nevertheless, speaking about any cricket match, Australians have always been the favorites regardless of the form or the type of the tournament. For an instance, Australia had its own approach in the Twenty20 World Cup and it came as a shock when it lost against the “lesser” powerful teams and India on the other hand was completely apprehensive about playing the tournament and in addition had no experience whatsoever. Beating Australia in the Twenty20 along with other teams is surely going to keep the spirits high giving an upper edge to team India.

Unfortunately, Ricky Ponting would not be able to make it to the early games and hence, Adam Gilchrist shall be the captain. But according to the cricketing experts, Australia is not an easy side to win over, especially in the seven one day international format. The challenge here is on the Indian side, it is important to live up to the expectations of the nation.
